Two Way Street / March 2016
I enjoy walking the streets in Gustavia in the morning, when the sun is just starting to peak over the hill. Always creates some interesting lighting. And if there was some recent rain.....bonus time!
A lazy afternoon at a landmark location.
A lovely church. I attend AA meetings there when I am visiting.
I like these signs that are supposed to provide some direction. I like the color
Up on the hill this morning, the water was glassy and the clouds were puffy
Watching light bounce in Gustavia
Across the street from Baz
Sunday morning walk in town ( March 2015)
Over on the other side of the harbor.
Rue Victor Hugo
One of my earliest attempts at making HDR images. I also added a layer with poster edges filter....gives is some grit.
I was up on the hill by the lighthouse when a few sailboats were spotlit by the setting sun.
One of the last planes of the evening approaching TFFJ .
I was hanging around town while Jacki was in full ninja shopping mode. So I had plenty of time to make some images.
A shot I made with my Sigma Merrill DP3.
Little pink houses for you and me
I make images of this house a lot. There is a little lady sitting in the window sometimes. Haven't seen her lately. She usually gives me a shitty look if she sees me.
One of the side streets leading to the harbor. I just like the yellow wall. Kind of like a color field painting? Maybe not.
The hairpin on the way out of Gustavia on the way to St Jean. I love down shifting as I approach and then drifting around the turn in 1st gear. (Not if Jacki is in the car).
One of our favorite restos. RIBS
The way to Boucaniers
I just liked the light on this particular morning.
A little house in town. I felt compelled to oversaturate this image. I do that alot when I thin the image ain't really strong.
The Lady in the Window
There is the lady in the pink house who gives me the stink eye sometimes.
We used to rent these, and had a blast. JackiB had an interesting experience in one when she was a wild woman.
Bike that that used to be a fixture in front of Le Select.
Rue du General de Gaulle
They did a little face lift on the main drag.

A Bucket evening from the Guse
